We stayed at the Hassayampa Inn, which is a designated historical property located in downtown Prescott. We have stayed other places, but this is our favorite. The hotel staff are so warm and friendly, and the lobby is completely welcoming.
You won't be disappointed with a stay here, either with your girlfriends, or your significant other. The beds are comfy and the whole place is relaxing. I will mention that it is reported to be haunted and there were some chills amongst our group the night we were there. The walls are very very thin and you can hear noises in the hallway and your neighbor's conversations as well. Just to forewarn you...
We enjoyed our dinner at Bin 239. Lovely bruschetta, very nice salads and pizza, and a wonderful assortment of wine. The wait staff is very efficient and helpful and the little dining area is warm and cozy. Stop in and have a glass of something tasty - you won't regret it.
A lovely little walk in the morning down to the coffee house (can't remember the name.. sorry!!) but it's right along the creek on Gurley Street past downtown. The servers are friendly, the coffee/tea was hot, and the goodies in the bakery case were yummy. Back to the hotel to meet our friends for a real breakfast.
Breakfast for us in the hotel dining room and those luscious lemon ricotta pancakes, or fresh trout with eggs, or a country breakfast of bacon, eggs, and toast. The food here is fresh and wholesome. I'd get the pancakes if I were you!!!
Prescott is a quirky place and you don't know what you might see when you visit. Lots of bikers come through on their way to somewhere else. This little lady allowed me to photograph her. Isn't she cute??
I think I'd like one of these myself. Hey Jeff... whadya think??
Get on out there and rove my friends!
Deb :)
